Holly Hess is the Dementia Programs Coordinator at CICOA, the Area 8 Agency on Aging.

Holly is the Dementia Friendly Indianapolis liaison and the Regional support for Marion County and the surrounding donut counties (Johnson, Hamilton, Shelby, Boone, Hancock, Morgan). Holly has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Healthcare Management from Indiana University Bloomington and has worked as a CNA in various long-term care organizations within homes and residential communities. Holly’s passion and advocacy developed for people living with dementia when she was working in memory care units.

She is especially proud of being able to bring together community members with like-minded passion to create the Dementia Friendly Action team and fun events such as the Dementia Friendly Indianapolis Fall Festival. Some of Holly’s favorite hobbies are music and traveling.
